What is double block and bleed?
The two seats of the trunnion mounted ball valve can shut off the fluids from the upstream and downstream sides,realizing the double block function. When the ball is fully opened or fully closed,the valve cavity and channel at the two ends can be isolated and the residual media in the cavity can be discharged by the bleed valve even if the pressure is simultaneously applied to both sides of the valves.
